This is a tradition that Barry and I started when we first got married. Instead of buying gifts for each other, we would pick a couple of names from the angel
tree, and spend that money on children who might not have anything for Christmas, otherwise. Although both of us usually end up breaking the rules and buy a
Christmas gift for each other, anyway. But when money is tight, like this year, the angels will come first.
We make a special day out of shopping for the angels. We try to buy them everything on their list. We spend the whole day going from store to store, and
usually end the evening with dinner and a movie. It's a day I always look forward to every December.
